It is amazing to continue learning about your children.  I am inspired by their thoughts and their diversity of thinking.

We are starting to get into FLEX Time this week.  Flex is a time for differentiation where kids can get the help they need, be it remediation, extension, or just a quick reminder.  Groupings during this time are very fluid as needs change often.  I am looking for any volunteers who would be willing to work with a small group or one-on-one with some kids during this time.  It is from 2:20-2:50 Monday through Thursday.  You can come in for a week or two, or you can come in every Tuesday (for example).  Please let me know through email if this is something you'd be interested in doing.

Today, students were entertained by a band concert promoting joining the band.  Information will come home about a meeting tomorrow night (Thursday) at Legend High School.  Here students will be able to try out instruments, and parents will get more information about the band and orchestra program.

Digger Dash is coming up.  Friday we will have our kick off assembly.  If you are interested in creating our class banner and/or helping with class flair please email me as soon as possible.  Our students have chosen the name Mrs. Dalcerri's Superstars with the theme that we are all movie stars/rock stars.  Attire will be discussed further as we aren't all coming in costumes - this is still a running event.  More to come...

After Goal Setting Conferences

Wow! It was great to meet so many great families these past few days.  I can already tell that we are headed toward a great year.  As I said to many of you, please know that the communication pathway is always open and that you can email me at any time.
